The fishing season starts the last Saturday of April and ends on November 15. The lake is stocked with rainbow trout by both DFG and Alper's Ranch hatcheries. There are also a few brown, brook and cutthroat trout in here too. Best fishing spots are around Boulder Lodge and near the swim beach at the north end of the lake. Be sure to visit the CDFW web site for complete regulations before heading out.
