Opening Day has been shifted to Wednesday, Dec 14; weather permitting. June Mountain Opening Day 2016

Mark your calendars! #JunesOpen on December 10, 2016.

We'll kick things of with our banner breaktrhough on chair two at 8:30am, followed by a JLB (June Lake Brewing) Toast at 11am with Mammoth Brewing Co. root beer for the kiddos. Be sure to stick around becuase no Saturday is complete without Bucky's Saturday Bonfire at 2pm.

June Lake California

Location and Directions:
     June Lake is located 11 miles north of Mammoth Lakes on Highway 158. From Hwy 395, go East on Hwy 158 (June Lake Loop). 


General Info:
    June Lake is part of a series of four linked lakes called "The June Lake Loop" It is the second largest lake at 160 surface acres. Camping is available on the east and north shores.     There is a launch ramp available and rental boats at the marina. Lake speed limit is 10 mph. June Lake Marina: (760) 648-7226

Fishing Info:
    The fishing season starts the last Saturday of April and ends on November 15. The lake is stocked with rainbow trout by both DFG and Alper's Ranch hatcheries. There are also a few brown, brook and cutthroat trout in here too. Best fishing spots are around Boulder Lodge and near the swim beach at the north end of the lake. Be sure to visit the CDFW web site for complete regulations before heading out.
